Highland Equipment is proud to introduce this health and safety policy stating our high standards for meeting the Industrial Establishments Regulation 851, and the Occupation Health and Safety Act.

Our goal is to inform all employees of their rights and responsibilities when it comes to safety, to ensure a safe working environment. Leadership is a high priority in this matter. We are open to adjustments and any necessary changes that arise, will be promptly implemented.

Highland Equipment’s joint Health and Safety Committee has assisted in the formation of our Health and Safety Manual, all for the purpose of servicing our customers. Working safely and having knowledge of what is required when it comes to safe working practices while within our customer’s premises is our priority.

Our policy is reviewed by members of the Joint Health & Safety Committee to ensure accuracy, and to inform the Directors and Management of any necessary changes that need to be addressed.

As a company, we strive to ensure our employees and subcontractors are aware of the dangers that could happen while performing their tasks in our plant or at our customer sites. All field crew are required to perform a “Site-Specific Safe Work Procedure” and to abide by the customer’s H&S Rules and Regulations.
